Artist’s Reflection:
The Softness series was inspired by the fine hairs and small spines of a cactus. From a distance, the surface looks gentle and inviting, but on touch it can cause pain. This contrast reflects a quiet form of self-protection in nature. Through these works, I wanted to explore how softness and strength can exist together, and how vulnerability often carries hidden resilience.
