Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers about The Charoen AArt, our exhibitions, artist collaborations, visiting information, and art collecting. We are committed to making art accessible, meaningful, and connected across cultures.
The Charoen AArt is an artist-run gallery located at the end of Charoen Krung Road in Bangkok. Originally a family home, it has been transformed into a creative space where traditional and contemporary art meet, connecting artists, collectors, and communities through authenticity and creativity.
Our name comes from Charoen Krung Road, Bangkok’s first modern road, where we are based. "Charoen" (เจริญ) means "prosper" or "flourish" in Thai. We combined it with "Art" and "Authenticity" to reflect our commitment to genuine artistic expression.
We are located at 2250/16 Charoen Krung Road, Bang Kho Laem, Bangkok 10120, Thailand.
Our regular hours are Tuesday to Sunday, 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Hours may vary depending on exhibitions or creative projects, so we recommend checking our website or contacting us before visiting.
We welcome artists who share our values of authenticity, creativity, and community. Opportunities include exhibitions, workshops, and collaborative projects. Artists can reach out through our website or submit proposals via our Call for Artists programme.
