Frequently Asked Questions

Here you’ll find answers to some common questions about The Charoen AArt, including exhibitions, collaborations, visiting, and collecting. If anything is unclear, you’re always welcome to get in touch.

The Charoen AArt is an independent gallery located on Charoen Krung Road in Bangkok. Originally a family home, the space has gradually become a place where art is experienced through the relationship between the work, the space, and the people who encounter it.

The name comes from Charoen Krung Road, Bangkok’s first modern road, where we are based. “Charoen” (เจริญ) means “to grow” or “to flourish” in Thai. Combined with “Art” and “Authenticity”, it reflects our focus on genuine artistic expression.

We are located at 2250/16 Charoen Krung Road, Bang Kho Laem, Bangkok 10120, Thailand.

Our regular hours are Tuesday to Sunday, 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. As an independently run space, we may occasionally be working upstairs, so it’s best to contact us in advance to ensure a more considered visit.

Artists can work with us through exhibitions, projects, and collaborations. If there is a natural alignment, you’re welcome to get in touch or share your work through our Call for Artists.

International artists participate through cultural collaboration. These non-commercial activities, such as exhibitions, talks, and workshops, do not constitute employment in Thailand and are conducted in accordance with relevant Thai regulations.

Works by Thai artists are available for direct purchase at our gallery in Bangkok or via our website. Selected works by international artists may also be available locally under consignment. All such works are presented through cultural collaboration agreements, with all sales handled by the gallery.

Every artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and a blockchain-registered FAL record — proof of ownership and authenticity.

For selected works that include NFTs, you will also receive a 1/1 NFT delivered directly by the artist, along with full documentation. The gallery does not manage wallets or store digital assets on behalf of buyers.

In short:
All artworks: COA + FAL record
NFT works: COA + FAL record + NFT (delivered by the artist)

Each artwork includes both:

A 1/1 NFT — a creative digital layer reflecting the spirit of the work. It is poetic, visual, and intended as part of the overall experience.

A FAL record — a blockchain-registered certificate confirming the authenticity and ownership of the physical work via The Fine Art Ledger.

For domestic purchases, returns are accepted within 7 days under specific conditions. For international purchases, returns are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at info@thecharoenaart.com for assistance.
