How We Work
How We Work
Here, art is approached as a journey and an experience, shaped through the relationship between the work, the space, and the people who encounter it.
Collaboration
We work with artists and collaborators as independent partners. Each project begins with a conversation and evolves in response to both the work and its context within the space.
Roles
The work belongs to the artist. From our side, we focus on how it enters the space, how it is presented, and how it is experienced. The project is shaped through dialogue while keeping roles clear.
Approach
While the work and its meaning remain with the artist, we consider the space as part of the experience. This includes developing written materials together so the work is understood clearly without over-defining it.
Context
As a small, independent space, we work within practical conditions such as time, production, and installation, with the aim of keeping each project meaningful and sustainable. We ask collaborators, especially those unfamiliar with the culture here, to stay open to local ways of working and to the context of this place so that the dialogue can be mutual and respectful.
Structure
We work through a lean structure with project-based collaborators. Clear agreements support the artist’s intentions while ensuring each exhibition is realised with care, clarity, and respect for the conditions of the space.
Clarity
We keep things simple and clear from the beginning so both sides understand what is involved. Artworks are presented on a consignment basis unless otherwise agreed.
