Welcome to The Charoen AArt, an artist-run gallery located on Charoen Krung Road in Bangkok’s Bang Kho Laem district, along Thailand’s first modern road. Here, art is approached as a journey and an experience, shaped through the relationship between the work, the space, and the people who encounter it.

Our Journey

The name “Charoen AArt” comes from the word “Charoen” (เจริญ), meaning growth or prosperity, combined with “Art” and “Authenticity”. The space was once a family home and office, and has since become a place for creativity and connection. Founded by Bryce Watanasoponwong, it brings together personal history with a wider perspective shaped by experiences both within and beyond Thailand.

To connect people through art rooted in lived experience, both personal and shared.

We create a space that is welcoming, open, and accessible, where people can feel at ease and respond freely and sincerely. We value authenticity, alongside culture and creativity, while respecting what has come before and remaining open to new ways of working.

Our Difference

As an independent, artist-run gallery, we work closely with artists through conversation and exchange. Each project develops in response to both the work and the space, with a focus on how it is experienced rather than simply displayed.
