Dragons in Flight for Lunar New Year 2026

This Lunar New Year, we welcome two special guests. Two dragons move through The Charoen AArt, suspended above the artworks and sweeping across the gallery space. They bring rhythm, colour, and a quiet strength that reshapes the atmosphere of the room.

In our own way, the dragons reflect Lunar New Year through light, scale, and movement within a small space in Bangkok.

This year also marks the Year of the Fire Horse, a symbol of energy and forward motion. Their presence transforms how the space is experienced. They invite visitors to look upward, slow down, and notice how the old and the new can coexist within the same setting.

At the same time, the works currently on view continue to explore themes of memory, resilience, and transformation. Recent works by Supmanee Chaisansuk bring material sensitivity through colour and organic movement, while works by Illya Skubak introduce a contrasting rhythm shaped by layered surfaces and presence. Together, they create an atmosphere that feels both celebratory and contemplative.

If you find yourself in Bangkok during this season, we warmly invite you to visit The Charoen AArt on Charoen Krung Road. Spend time with the dragons, immerse yourself in colour, and experience the works in person.

We look forward to welcoming you into our home.
