About the Work:
This sculpture reflects a journey shaped by uncertainty, memory, and the search for direction. Fragile boats, a dotted path, and an “X” suggest movement across an unsettled landscape. The composition brings together elements that speak to both navigation and disorientation. Materials collected from the streets of Bangkok carry traces of other places and moments. Assembled into a single form, they invite reflection on how we move through the world with questions more than answers.

Artist’s Note:
This work was inspired by themes of navigation, loss, and the search for direction. Fragile sailboats, some sinking, and a red dotted line pointing to an “X” suggest a journey through uncertain waters. The imagery reflects both movement and disorientation. Each element was gathered from the streets of Bangkok and brought together to hold memory and meaning. This piece is a reflection on how we move through instability, guided by fragments, symbols, and the stories we carry.
