Artist’s Note:
A dinosaur, not roaring.
Not hunting.
Just… remaining.
Already an image.

Once, it moved.
It warmed the earth.
It ruled the land.

Now, it’s a shape.
A silhouette cut in stone.
A symbol of the disappeared.

But this is not the end.

Today’s children play with dinosaurs —
plastic, shiny, light.

And those toys?
They’re made from oil.
And oil is dinosaurs.
Pressed by time.
Burned for speed.
Melted into fun.

The cycle isn’t over.
Disappearance becomes play.
Extinction becomes economy.

This is not a fossil.
It’s a loop.
