About the Work:
This work explores repetition, memory, and the weight of inherited ideas. A central figure with two heads, one in a modern helmet and one in a powdered wig, moves across a ground covered in skulls. Rifles point in different directions, creating a sense of disorder rather than purpose. The figure is not heroic. It is caught in motion, without clear direction. Created with oil, acrylic, and pastel, the image comes from a place of ongoing reflection. It offers a space to consider how certain patterns continue, even when their purpose fades.

Artist’s Note:
This work reflects on repetition, power, and loss. A figure with two heads, one in a modern helmet and one in an 18th-century wig, walks across a path of skulls. Rifles point in all directions, suggesting confusion rather than control. This is not a heroic image. It is about moving forward without clarity. I used oil, acrylic, and pastel to combine density with softness. The work came from reflection that had built up over time. It is an attempt to make visible what cannot easily be spoken.
