STRATUM: Reflections on the Opening
STRATUM Exhibition – A Reflection
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening of STRATUM – สิ่งที่ซ่อนอยู่, a solo exhibition by Ukrainian artist Illya Skubak, curated by Yana Schwartz. It was a warm and meaningful gathering that brought together artists, friends, and supporters from many backgrounds.
We were honoured to welcome Ms. Olga Rusova, Second Secretary at the Embassy of Ukraine in Thailand, who personally attended the opening to show her support for the artist.

Over the past few days, we have seen various reports and responses about the opening. We would like to take a moment to share our intention directly.
At The Charoen AArt, we believe in art as a peaceful and powerful tool for expression, reflection, and connection. We are a small, artist-run space that aims to stay neutral, respectful, and open. This is a space where artists of all backgrounds can tell their stories honestly, creatively, and without judgment.
STRATUM presents Illya Skubak’s personal vision, encouraging viewers to connect with memory, material, and emotion through quiet observation and curiosity.
Thank you for walking with us. We look forward to continuing this journey with you, in conversation, in art, and in shared understanding.
With gratitude,
The Charoen AArt
