Inspired by Buddhist thought and the words of Daisaku Ikeda, impermanence appears not as emptiness but as transformation that creates meaning.

The Maker

This idea runs through the practice of Bryce Watanasoponwong, a Thai-born photographer whose work is rooted in experimentation and visual storytelling. He explores memory, vulnerability, and the unpredictability of life, often blurring the line between photography and painting in a style he calls #CameraAsBrush.

After nearly two decades in Australia, Bryce returned to Thailand. During the pandemic, he chose to dedicate himself fully to art. From this awareness came The Charoen AArt, a space that never stands still. Artists come and go, exhibitions open and close, yet what matters most is the value created and shared.

Bryce Watanasoponwong is a Thai-born photographer whose practice combines experimentation and visual storytelling. His works have been exhibited internationally, including solo presentations and an artist residency at River City Bangkok. He is also the founder of The Charoen AArt, an independent art space in Bangkok dedicated to supporting diversity and new perspectives in the art world.

The series invites visitors to reflect on their own memories, to notice what stays, what fades, and how meaning continues to shift over time.
