We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Please refer to our specific return policies for more detailed information: Domestic Return Policy | International Return Policy.

Some works are consigned by artists or collectors. In such cases, return eligibility may depend on the consignor’s agreement. Please refer to the product page or contact us before proceeding with a return.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

How to Start a Return

To start a return, please contact us at info@charoenaart.com. Returns must be sent to:
2250/16 Charoenkrung Road, Bangkhorlame, Bangkok 10120, Thailand.

Customers are responsible for covering the cost of return shipping. Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted. Once your return is approved, we will provide further instructions. You may contact us at any time for return-related questions.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item. We will evaluate the issue and resolve it as quickly as possible.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned, including perishable goods, custom or personalised pieces, personal-care items, hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases.

We also cannot accept returns for one-of-a-kind artworks, consigned works, limited editions, made-to-order pieces, digital items (including NFTs), gift cards, or sale items.

Exchanges

The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you may make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is delivered to an address within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason. Items must be returned in the same condition as received, including original packaging and proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status. If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that banks and card providers may require additional processing time.

Currency and Regional Price Adjustments

Prices may appear different depending on your location due to currency conversion, rounding, and local taxes. Refunds are issued in the original payment currency and amount charged at checkout. For purchases made via third-party platforms such as Artsy, please refer to their policy directly.

Payment & Security

All online payments are processed securely through trusted providers such as Stripe, PayPal, and Omise. The Charoen AArt does not store, process, or have access to your credit card information at any stage. All sensitive payment details are handled directly by our payment partners in accordance with international PCI-DSS security standards.

Refunds, when applicable, are issued through the same payment provider originally used for the purchase.

Please note that we do not offer escrow or third-party holding services. All payments are processed immediately and directly by the selected payment provider at checkout.

VAT / Tax Information

The Charoen AArt is currently not VAT-registered in Thailand. All artwork prices listed on our website, invoices, and receipts are VAT-exclusive and VAT is not charged.

For international shipments, import duties, VAT, or local taxes may apply upon arrival depending on the destination country’s regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer.

Consigned Works

The Charoen AArt showcases consigned works by Thai and international artists. While many works by Thai artists are available for local purchase, selected international artists also consign their works for sale in Thailand. All works are sold through the gallery. These collaborations are conducted under cultural agreements; participating artists are not employed in Thailand.
