Artist's Note:
A guilty feeling of curiosity constantly lurks nearby. Quiet detachment from worldly concerns is rare and requires strength. Now, my mind is mostly calm; I know that I know nothing. Before, whispers spread like mycelium, penetrating my ears when others spoke. I whispered a secret into someone's ear, knowing that judgment, like a boomerang, would soon return to me—I could never hold back. Excitement, guilt, bloodshot eyes. It’s funny; all these stories no longer matter (they never did). And if I reveal your secret, my love? Don’t judge! And if I destroy your secret, my kindred soul?
