Artist's Note:
I try to recall the glimmers of light, but it’s as futile as trying to catch them with my hands. Light encloses the only real moment; only it matters. Light never repeats itself. I already knew this, and then the teacher at the Buddhist monastery spoke about it. In the space of quiet water, I placed the physical form of light—anthropomorphic, living, and peaceful glimmers. Imagination and reality, past and present, myth and the everyday coexist here.
