Artwork Details:

2024, Ceramic sculpture with integrated light, 35 H x 23 W cm. This hand-sculpted ceramic piece features an organic, flower-like form holding a central light bulb. It blends artistic expression with practical design, inviting reflection through light and form.

Artist's Note:

Life always grows roots deeper, wider, upward, and downward. My flower gives light. It is not alive, it cannot grow even one more petal, but beside it, a living flower feeds on the eternal light, so essential for it to keep reaching upward.

Perhaps, if the artificial flower with its artificial heart nourishes life on the same fertile ground for long enough, one day it will come alive?

The natural and the artificial engage in a quiet conversation, sharing the soil, light, and water. Their foundation is unified, nature is inseparably connected. Light for growth, stillness for movement.
