Inspired by Buddhist thought and the words of Daisaku Ikeda, impermanence appears not as emptiness but as transformation that creates meaning.

The Maker
This idea runs through the practice of Bryce Watanasoponwong, a Thai-born photographer whose work is rooted in experimentation and visual storytelling. He explores memory, vulnerability, and the unpredictability of life, often blurring the line between photography and painting in a style he calls #CameraAsBrush.
After nearly two decades in Australia, Bryce returned to Thailand. During the pandemic, he chose to dedicate himself fully to art. From this awareness came The Charoen AArt, a space that never stands still. Artists come and go, exhibitions open and close, yet what matters most is the value created and shared.
“This series is about memory as it fades. For me, it is not loss, it is change.”— Bryce Watanasoponwong
Images and miniatures trace memory’s path from wholeness to fading.

Where memory feels whole.

Where memory dissolves into traces.

Where memory transforms into something new.
From presence to absence, each figure endures as a marker of memory.
